About the speakers

Rick Snyder

Richard A. “Rick” Snyder, CPM®, CRE is President & Broker/Owner of R.A. Snyder Properties, Inc., an AMO® firm he founded in 1988 in San Diego. A real estate professional since 1974, Rick leads management and brokerage across multifamily and residential communities, office and commercial assets, and mobile home parks. His work has been recognized with top honors including IREM San Diego’s Property Manager of the Year and Broker of the Year from both SDAR and the North San Diego Association of Realtors.

A respected industry authority, Rick is frequently engaged in real estate litigation as an expert witness and has served as a court-appointed referee and receiver in jurisdictions throughout Southern California. He brings deep knowledge of real estate law, ethics, transactions, and liability to complex matters in state and federal cases.

Rick’s leadership spans local, state, and national organizations: former President of SDAR, the San Diego IREM Chapter, the San Diego County Apartment Association, President of both the California Association of Realtors (CAR) and the California Apartment Association (CAA), and long-time CAR director and committee chair. Nationally, he has served on multiple NAR Presidential Advisory Groups and leadership teams, and currently serves as Chairman of the National Apartment Association (NAA) (beginning 2024).

Rick holds a B.S. in Business Administration (Real Estate) from San Diego State University and a California Real Estate Broker license.
